I work full time as a graphic designer and illustrator, but my job allows me to have enough free time to paint on the side. I have recently become quite dedicated to regular plein air painting and Miami has become my main subject. I walk around with a portable easel and painting kit and find spots to paint on site. I even have a small clamp light for painting at night. I will be driving around and think things to myself like “oh man, I love the way those boats are parked in the canal, I need to come back and paint here!”

These days it’s easy to tell time without watches because we all have our phones, but lately I just want to be able to check the time quickly and not be sucked into a bunch of distractions. It’s been super handy to just quickly look at my wrist and keep on with my day!

As far as fashion, I think a watch can express just as much as a pair of shoes or any other garment. Watches can project a lot of different auras, like sporty, or high class, or intellectual.

What I like about CASIO watches is their versatility. I am pretty minimal and reserved when it comes to my fashion choices, and a CASIO has the perfect because it has so it can give that little extra edge of coolness or be played off subtly and casually.

I remember G-SHOCK being a really big thing when I was a kid in the 90s. I specifically was really into Ninja Turtles, and I have memories of wanting the all yellow one because it looked like April O’Neil’s watch haha! I think the watch and fashion need CASIO because they fill the niche of being approachable, fashionable, and durable all at the same time. Here’s to another 50 years!

 I am the co-founder and co-owner of Studio Raūpo. My business partner Lhonette Charles and I met around 12 years ago while working in another company. We both run the business and work behind the chair. I specialize in haircuts; I’ve been cutting hair for about 20 years now.

My job is very rewarding, when a client does a transformation I love seeing how it changes the way they feel about themselves and the boost of confidence and self-esteem that they experience. It is truly an unmatched feeling.

I take a lot of pride in being a hairdresser, it is a gift I was born with.

A watch is a style statement, it’s a reflection of your personality. I love fashion and getting dressed every morning, I change my style from day to day and my watch It’s always the last thing I put on, I like how it completes my outfit. 

There’s something about the gesture of looking at my watch to check the time that makes me feel classy.

Casio is a classic. A Casio watch can take you from a day at the beach to a night out to a fancy restaurant or to a jazz music concert (my favorite things to do). It has never lost its distinctive style, and that's why people of all types wear them.

I remember clearly my mom wearing a silver Casio watch with a black sphere. I was around 10 years old. My favorite outfit of hers was washed jeans with a black top and I remember how shiny her silver and white gold jewelry looked on her tan skin. Full circle, today I’m wearing a silver Casio with a white sphere.

As a freelance photographer, every week looks a little different. Some weeks I’m out on location, others I’m in the studio, and some weeks I’m at home editing the day away. From building a shoot out of my own ideas or creating what a client wants, the constant change always keeps me on my toes and keeps it fun. Meeting new people is always fun and this job keeps me social. One of my favorite things that comes with this job is the ability to collaborate with so many creative and talented people. And I’ve met some very talented people. That is one of the biggest blessings I’ve received from sticking to this career.

On a fast-paced shoot day, keeping on a schedule is crucial. I don’t go into a shoot without my digital Casio. Something I can always rely on. However, on the slower days, I’ll wear an automatic watch. Like film cameras, I'm always impressed by mechanical tools and how intricate things can be made. Fashion is all about the details. One small thing can change the whole feeling of a look. The right shoe, length of your shirt; A watch is a large statement piece that can be dressed up or down and both ways heavily change your look for the better.

I own the same style of Casio watches now that I did as a child. These are very timeless and a little nostalgic to me. I love the versatility of my watches, from a fashion statement to keeping me on schedule on a job.

I remember being on time to my job every day because of CASIO and honestly that's the best blessing I’ve had. Except that one time I slept through my alarm, but that might be my fault. The next watch I have in mind is a CASIO G-shock and I'm looking to pick one up. A 50th anniversary sounds like a great reason to go for it.

Growing up, I was always seen with a watch, especially as a kid—part of my daily routine to stay on top of things and keep life structured. Sometime in college I had this gold watch once, a gift that was sadly swiped at TSA when I was traveling, and I was genuinely bummed out. It wasn’t just the loss of the watch; it felt like losing a piece of myself, a reminder of how much I cherish having my timepieces close. In my current hustle of events and food, every second truly counts, and a watch is my trusty sidekick, helping me stay on schedule amidst the whirlwind. In your opinion, what do you think is the correlation between fashion and watches?

As for the connection between fashion and watches, I think it’s pure magic. A watch isn’t just about telling time; it’s like the cherry on top of your outfit, adding a splash of personality and character. Growing up in Indonesia, I was a bit of a watch collector, trading cheap plastic timepieces with friends as if we were customizing characters in a video game. Watches have always been more than just accessories—they’re like a personal style statement, making every tick of the clock count in the most fashionable way.

Yeah! I think I was once gifted a CASIO watch, and it quickly became a cherished companion　during my long-distance running days. Each tick and tock helped me push further, reminding me that I could always go that extra mile. That watch was a little beacon of encouragement, and it played a meaningful role in my journey, making the milestones along the way even more memorable.

By day I am a full time Studio Manager for an apparel brand here in LA—I handle customer experience, a bit of quality control, logistics and a few other things here and there (we are an intimate team). And the other hours I am an artist with an emphasis in fibers, knits and sewing. I love to basketweave, I weave stones, and anything else my hands feel like manipulating at a given time. My hands just like to stay busy.

Watches are the finishing touch to a daily ensemble— on par with embellishing yourself with earrings or a necklace, only with an added benefit: They can act as a means to gently remind oneself to try and stay as present as possible and slow down.

Basically, working in the media and as a Content Creator myself, I have to keep up with everything that’s going on in the world at all times. It gets tiring sometimes but also gives me extra time to challenge myself of what I can do “more” with what I already have. I create my own challenges and I make it happen, from time to time. Sky's the limit they say, I’d say it’s so limitless so whatever you’re doing right now, it’s so important to keep trying to get the hell out of your comfort zone, make things happen (at least for yourself), create your own opportunities and move the boxes, instead of just living inside them.

Watch is one of the most important accessories in my life cus i’d feel uneasy and incomplete whenever I go out with an empty wrist. Watchless. Even though it’s only a small part on your wrist, you can’t undermine its role that is vital. It compliments the whole look. Its shapes and colors dictate the whole mood of your outfit whether it be vintage or street.

Casio is so diverse for all kinds of people, ages, colors, you name it. So one thing to describe casio is that it’s so timeless you can never go wrong with it.

One thing for sure, y’all will go down in history for making all of us (all kinds of people) able to look stylish without even trying so hard and plus some of the models are so affordable for us students, I remember buying my first Casio watch when I was still in High School with my allowance. I could still make it happen back then and I thank you all for it. Happy Anniversary, Casio!

I work as a full time freelancer as a videographer, model and dancer. What I love about freelancing is how diverse my tasks can get. My main job as a videographer is to make my client's video needs visually engaging and reach their business to more people while retaining them with my authentic visual. once in a while I also perform for events, dance for commercial work with my dance crew in various place, it’s always a blessing for me to work from doing the things I love in the other end for modeling, my main job is to present their brand and a skills to adapt to their specific looks with confidence.

Watches for me are a reminder/symbol of how important time is, to keep in track of my daily schedule and a piece to represent my look. To me personally a watch is an essential piece to show my personal style and has a power to change & define my entire look, it could make me classy, minimalist or even elegant.

I would describe Casio watches as timeless and classic, they have a very rugged design long lasting while blending style to each piece.

One of my memories with Casio watches is that it was my first ever watch, it was a G-SHOCK series. I got them as a birthday gift from my mom when I was 13, and I still keep them with me till this day. to Casio I would love to say happy 50 anniversary and thank you for always making a long lasting and timeless piece.

From day to day, I work at a fashion retail company located in the heart of Jakarta, as a Marketing SPV, always in a rush to keep up with the trends and combining things with the authenticity of the brand, I cultivate, I curate, and I create. These techniques applied to my florals business as well, Kamiku Gardens ✿

Whenever you do fashion, accessories are a must. The whole look is never complete without them, including timepieces. They’re more like a fashion statement, especially if you’re a workaholic person, constantly doing stuff here and there. How can you manage everything without a watch on your hand? It’s just wrong. You need to balance everything in one look for your daily outfits :)

The diversity of CASIO watches catches the eye of every demographic, fitting perfectly for every gender and age. The functionality is also a key point in CASIO watches. They’re not just occasional accessories; you can dress them up or down. They share a lot of stylish meanings but still have a purposeful aspect.
My CASIO Vintage Watch, for example, has a streamlined face design. I like how the classic color schemes sit on my arm—pure vintage sophistication. Authentic.

I actually managed CASIO’s 50th Anniversary event at Desa Potato Head in Bali in 2023. We invited all the big-name artists and influencers from Southeast Asia. It was such an exciting and memorable experience, and I was honored to be part of the fam. I’m looking forward to more fun things in the next stage of CASIO’s journey.
