Tokyo, September 14, 2022 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today the release of the CT-S1FH, a new addition to the Casiotone line of digital keyboards that was developed in collaboration with world-renowned Brazilian visual artist Romero Britto. Only 1,000 of these limited-edition keyboards will be available at the Casio Online Store worldwide.
Romero Britto is a leader in today’s pop art scene. His work — characterized by vibrant colors and bold patterns — has been exhibited at galleries, museums and public art spaces in over 120 countries, including the Louvre in Paris and Hyde Park in London. Expressive of hope and happiness, his unique style is instantly recognizable, and he has even been described as a “modern-day Picasso.”.
The new CT-S1FH digital keyboard was designed in collaboration with Romero Britto. A reference exhibit for the model was presented at the 2022 NAMM Show — one of the largest musical instrument trade shows in the world — held in Anaheim, California in the United States in June. The keyboard received considerable attention from attendees, with its vividly colorful design featuring Britto’s pop artwork across the speaker fabric. The new model is based on the Casiotone CT-S1WE, and it features the same compact, minimalist design, which blends wonderfully with the scenes of everyday life. For the new keyboard, a dye sublimation printing process was employed to adorn the full width of the speaker fabric with the vibrant beauty of imagery from Britto’s Flowers and Hearts series. The keyboard is designed to allow users to place the keyboard in their room as if displaying a piece of favorite artwork, adding color to their life and lightening the mood. A special booklet with a message from the artist and a serial number card are also included as original bonus features..
The richly expressive Casio AiX sound source and slim yet powerful-sounding acoustic system equip the user to perform with a stunning sense of presence. Easy to place and play anywhere thanks to its compact form, the keyboard offers exciting musical experiences for family and friends, making it easy for people to enjoy playing music together. The separately available wireless MIDI & Audio Adaptor not only allows users to play their favorite music off a smartphone, tablet or other device through the powerful built-in speaker system, but also to enjoy playing along when they do. .

Message from Romero Britto
The artwork I created for the Casiotone came from the inspiration of music. Every time I listen to music, it makes me feel energized, makes me feel happy, and makes me want to create even more artwork. So I invite you to make music anytime, anywhere, as you feel it—as vivid and as colorful as my art—with the new CT-S1FH. Enjoy the Britto collaboration, Britto and Casiotone.
