Functionality and Design: The Perfect Balance that Makes Privia Special

Stefen leads a busy life in Los Angeles, where he juggles a busy schedule that consists of multiple roles as both an engineer, producer, and studio owner. Watching how the city he’s lived in for over two decades evolve is something that gives him immense pleasure.

"I've lived here for more than 20 years now so I’ve been able to witness its transformation up close. The city has grown in popularity, with a rich culture, more restaurants and an overall better quality of life."

Stefen’s daily routine is pretty unique, going to bed in the early hours as the sun is rising and waking up just before noon. His days are filled with work. "I love my life, constantly being surrounded by music at the recording studio. My role is to ensure musicians who come here have a comfortable environment to help facilitate creating their music. Whenever there’s been a great recording session at the studio, it feels like a personal achievement".

Stefen’s life is surrounded with music and he first learned about Privia through a friend.

"I’m always excited to try out new instruments, so I was immediately interested in Privia. We set it up in the studio so that visiting musicians could play it. Unlike other keyboards we have, Privia combines a beautiful sound with and an exceptionally smooth, well-weighted touch."

Stefen’s perspective as an engineer who has a broad range of experience with both music and the artists that make it, gives him an increased appreciation of Privia's design.
