Creating Moments of Joy and a Stylish New You with Music.
Rebecca Cline and Sarah Brindell are both professors at the esteemed Berklee College of Music, and they have been kind enough to share their insights with us. Rebecca, is not only a professor but also a skilled pianist, and Sarah is actively associated with the song writing department.
Both of them are integral to the vibrant musical atmosphere at Berklee, which is nestled in the heart of Boston.
Rebecca eloquently recounts how music seamlessly weaves into the fabric of Boston's culture, blending influences from classical, jazz, and a diverse range of ethnic inspirations. She underscores that Berklee, much like the city itself, is steeped in a culturally rich and profound history.
Sarah concurs, adding, "Around the school there's a constant flow of music 24/7, 365 days a year. The dedication and energy of both students and members of faculty towards music is palpable." Both Rebecca and Sarah deftly balance their roles as both educators and musicians, leading lives fully immersed in music.
Rebecca, who is committed to full-time teaching at Berklee, candidly shares details of her demanding schedule. Despite the complexities of juggling work and family life, she finds it to be a deeply fulfilling lifestyle. "My life involves many different moving parts.
To recharge my batteries I indulge in piano practice, and whenever I find enough free time I immerse myself in composing music."
Sarah, a voaclist who continues to sing after her university classes finish, also expresses with a contented smile, "This city is full of life, teeming with vibrancy and creativity,".
Sarah praises the Privia PX-S7000, highlighting its ability to create an exceptionally creative sound. Meanwhile, Rebecca weighs in on how it plays, "I adore the smooth touch of the keys, ranging from low to high. It strikes the perfect balance—not too light, seamless, and with just the right amount of weight, making it a piano you want to keep on playing."
Both Sarah and Rebecca connect deeply with Privia's design and philosophy. Rebecca observes, "The diverse range of sounds, seamless blending of electric and grand piano tones, coupled with the refined and minimalistic design, is truly extraordinary." Sarah adds, "I personally connect with CASIO's approach to developing brand concept 'a piano in harmony with one’s lifestyle’. Privia helps create memorable moments and a stylish new you , giving life to new music and culture."
