Go bold and bright. Get out and explore the great outdoors! Get the PRO TREK PRG-340SC with dual-layer LCD, featuring environmentally responsible materials. This is the first PRO TREK timepiece with a Dura Soft band made from reused resin scraps left over from manufacturing processes. In keeping with the PRO TREK commitment to reducing environmental impact by using sustainable materials, reused resin scraps are an excellent complement to a line of watches. Taking its cue from the PRG-340, key components for the case, rotating bezel, and case back are made with bio-based resin. Produced using renewable organic resources, this material is another way to help reduce environmental impact. Not just nature loving, but practical, too. The Triple Sensor delivers compass bearing, barometric pressure, temperature, and altitude readings. The dual-layer LCD ensures outstanding visibility of compass graphics shown on the top layer and various measurements on the large display on the bottom layer. *Due to the special material used , the textured pattern on the surface of the band is uneven.

Bands made with renewable materials: PRO TREK connects with nature
The PRG-340 with dual-layer LCD features a band made of reused silicone resin materials and a bezel, case, and case back made with bio-based resin. This timepiece also comes equipped with a triple sensor that tracks natural conditions and the Tough Solar charging system that converts not only sunlight, but even light from weak light sources such as fluorescent lamps into power. Stay close to the environment and take joy in the glory of nature with this outdoor gear that honors the natural world — both in the materials it is made with and the functions it delivers.
Dura Soft band made with reused silicone resin materials
We reuse the scraps generated in the manufacture of resin products to create the material for this watch band. Crushed chips kneaded into a base silicone material are mixed and molded into two layers for a different look on the top surface and underside. Colourful patterns and random textures come together to achieve an outdoor look inspired by stone and sand.

Attention to materials: Bio-based resin
Key resin components used in the case, bezel, and case back are made with bio-based resin. Produced using renewable organic resources, this material is expected to help reduce environmental impact.

Digital compass now even more readable with the duplex LCD
The dual-layer LCD allows compass graphics to be shown on the top layer, while the bottom layer offers a large display of the time and various measurements. The LCD has also been made slimmer to minimize bulk, even while being dual-layer.

Rotating bezel and movable lug construction
The bezel incorporates a rotating mechanism, allowing it to be used for simple orientation memory. The movable lug structure enables the watch case and band to be laid flat — handy when working with paper maps, checking where you are and where you’re going.

Direct function buttons for increased operability
Measure direction, air pressure and temperature, and altitude, each one available directly from a single button. The oversized buttons feature a nonslip finish for effortless use even when wearing gloves.
